Other than Virgil they always seem somewhat subdued on their way out to the start of games this season, as shown in these behind the scenes videos which are great by the way & well appreciated 👍. But I can't help but think ~ maybe this is the reason why we keep going a goal down in the first half🤔. Maybe if the lads were a bit more fired up. It was a mediocre performance, i'm super happy with the 3 points though. But you've gotta feel for Faes, 2 freak bounces and unlucky with both of them. I get why they happened, not used to the tempo, and was that crucial half second behind where he wanted to be, and he had to compensate with a sprint and a dive because of a lack of communication between him and the goalie. And he's "new" so that he even was there is a good sign for him for the future. He can keep his head up. And as far as LFC goes, we need to put away our chances and i have no doubt that nunez will be firing live any time now, he's there, he makes the runs, finds the spaces, it's just a matter of time. In the mean time he's really playing for the team, he creates chances for the others and doesn't shy away from passing the ball to his teammates instead of overcompensating with law chance shots like Salah has tended to do when he's been in a rut.
