We've been completely level with City, a team with unlimited resources, a fine manager, and who are strong contenders for the greatest British club side of the PL era - outperforming them in Europe and being a just a little unlucky in the league (there was only a point's difference between us over the previous 4 seasons, yet we only won 1 to their 3). Our achievements have been amazing, and what happens from this point forwards, we should all looks back with immense pride and joy on what Klopp and his team have achieved in recent years.

Come here after watched Klopp's interview with BBC 7 years ago, I think maybe this season become the fatigue season for Liverpool. After their marathon for 4 years, with all the titles, the players and all other people in the team need a rest. But no, they don't get it, they have to go marathon again this season. With the fatigue players after last season, they have to do it again, plus the world cup, it make their performance drop and so much players injured. As a fan, of course dissapointed with the results, but I think this time our team really need time to recover and what we can do as proper fan is give them our support whether up or down. That's okay guys, we know you trying do your best. It's a game, sometimes you win sometimes you lose. Take rest and comeback stronger 💪

Klopp keeps confidence in his players when they should still would have needed to move on not only for the club also for development of the his players and give new fresh blood a welcome working team. At the end times in Dortmund's time he said that he cannot help the team anymore and a new manager should do that.

We were supposed to lose this match. Thiago and Konate was one of the hardest working players. Thiago is too good, especially for his age. Need someone good next to him. Also I'm getting so frustrated to see the ball being passed side to side and back and kept in the middle instead of chances being made. We need to be that old Liverpool again when everyone was scared of us. Now everyone looks forward to play us, because they know we play possession and just pick up from our mistakes. It's also too easy to get passed our defense. The other team doesn't even need to try hard, it's a bladdy walk in the park. But I would like for Thiago and Keita to start together I'm the next match.

Can someone explain to me what is this horrible midfield Liverpool is playing? Am I blind? Is the problem anywhere else? Can Klopp and his coaches see what we witness every game with this midfield?

i dont expect much short term our attack was in tatters losing jota and diaz with nunez still find his feet in the team. We are transitioning from one group of players who were very successful to a new group. We will be much stronger long term when cody adapts and those lads return and nunez has been with us longer. Would love to see us get the financial backing to bring Jude and McAllister to the club, but jude is the priority. YNWA

Liverpool were very lucky not to lose that game, especially as the 3rd Wolves goal got disallowed for offside which was really tight

Fabinho has been the biggest loss this season Imo. He looks like a shadow of his former self. And without him to lock down the midfield like before, teams just run over us. Thiago is the only midfield player who turns up for us week in week out this season. Everyone else is injured, over the hill, or just looks out of sorts

Gakpo is a very good player. Give him time although Liverpool always plays for trophies. Gakpo did not play bad with 1 assist, but he obviously needs time to adapt. Salah played a bit isolated. Defence looked unorganised. Without Virgil, Liverpool certainly needs a better midfield and requires a defensive leader from midfield. Fabinho and Henderson could not move the game quick enough. With only Thiago shifting and controlling the game, makes Liverpool easy to defend. Elliot is not strong enough to dominate midfield. Changes? Amrabat would be a good replacement for Fabinho. Mac Allister would be a good replacement for Henderson. With Virgil, Liverpool still needs a better midfield, whereby Virgil truly needs to become a better defender who can give better support to offensive play and who needs to defend more aggressively and more tenaciously than he ever needed too. With Thiago, Amrabat and Mac Allister Liverpool’s defence and strikers will function better. Amrabat will be the new defensive leader, while Mac Allister will provide better support for the strikers allowing Thiago to control midfield and to launch Gakpo, Nunez and Salah. Hence, Mr. Klopp will need to change the style of play as Liverpool has and will have very different types of players: less power-based, but quicker, more creative and more technique.

Someone explain to me why Salah was not offside for his goal. "When the ball was played", Salah was standing in an offside position. Yes, Toti headed it on, but and let me write that again, "when the ball is played" Salah is standing in an offside position, if Salah had not been standing there, Toti would not have headed it, so why does it stand?! What happened to the rule where, "a Player is deemed not offside if the opposition player is the one that plays it back".... Well taken, but in my opinion, still offside. On a footnote: Becker played a blinder :0) how much did he cost?!

Trent & Nunez played well, Robbo was trying, that Midfield either gets played through or over the top, get very little from them, it will continue until we get some upgrades.
